Flights and the Bahia Solano entry fee are not included. The entry fee is $58,000 COP per person and must be paid in cash upon arrival at the airport.

Arrive in Colombia
Traveling from abroad? Plan your international flight and domestic connection separately, leaving plenty of time between flights. Flights to Bahia Solano mainly depart from Olaya Herrera Airport in Medellin, which is a domestic airport, not an international one.
Fly to Bahía Solano
Your destination is the Bahia Solano Airport (BSC). Please confirm routes, baggage allowance, and schedules directly with the airline. The main departure airport is Olaya Herrera in Medellin; please note that this is a secondary domestic airport and is approximately a 1-hour bus ride from the José María Córdoba International Airport in Rionegro. The airlines flying to Bahia Solano are SATENA, CLIC AIR, and MOON FLIGHTS. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us—we are here to help you plan your trip
We'll coordinate the final stretch
Continue on to El Valle and then to Playa Cuevita. Message us with your itinerary, and we will pick you up at the airport to take you to Selvahia. July to October is the usual humpback whale season. From November to June, our trips focus on rainforest, rivers, beaches and waterfalls. This is a tropical rainy destination all year; wildlife sightings are never guaranteed.
Light quick-drying clothing, a rain jacket, walking shoes, sandals, a reusable bottle, insect repellent, sun protection and a waterproof bag. Ask about baggage limits and specific tour requirements before travelling.
Send your preferred dates and trip through WhatsApp. Our team confirms availability, accommodation, the final price and payment instructions. Experience brochures offer a COP 500,000 deposit and an instalment plan; confirm the schedule for your departure. Bank transfer, cash and credit card are listed, with a 5% card surcharge. Accommodation-only terms are quoted separately. No payment is taken on this website.
According to the experience programmes, reservations are non-refundable. Documented exceptional circumstances are assessed individually for rescheduling or a partial refund, depending on costs already incurred. Ask for the complete conditions for your booking before paying.
Tell us the ages of children and any mobility needs before booking. Rooms are upstairs and activities can involve boat rides and uneven terrain. We will confirm suitable accommodation, access and activities with you.
The price shown in USD applies to non-resident foreigners in Colombia. Credit card payments are subject to an additional surcharge. Please check the official entry requirements for your passport to enter Colombia, and ensure you leave flexible margins for your domestic flight connections.
